Visalia is a city located in the state of California. More specifically, it is located in the San Joaquin Valley, where it is the fifth largest city by population. The city is located in Tulare County, where it is the county seat. The last US census taken in 2010 reflected a population of 124,442.

Since that time, estimates show that the number has risen to 133,000. The city’s total area is nearly 37.5 square miles, and it has a population density of over 3,497 people per square mile. The city’s population makes it the 44th most populous city in California.
