Mexican States

The country of Mexico is part of the Americas. Together, the states of Mexico are recognized as the United Mexican States. They are found directly below the southernmost border of the United States of America, and to the northwest of the countries that make up Central America. The Gulf of Mexico is to the east of Mexico, while the Pacific Ocean lines the Mexican states to the west. In total, there are thirty-one states in Mexico.
