Boise City is the only city in the state to have a population that surpasses 100,000, with a total of 218,281 people. The next largest city, Meridian, has less than half of this population, at just over 90,000, while the third most populous city, Nampa, barely trails behind with over 89,000 residents. There is a total of 21 cities with a population that exceeds 10,000.
