Even though New York City is integral to New York State, there is still a lot to do outside of the city. For example, lots of people love to travel to the Adirondack Mountains, which are located in Upstate New York. It is home to a wide variety of ski resorts, and there are plenty of lakes where people go to cool off during the summer. The rolling hills and beautiful trees are beautiful, and many people love to watch the leaves change color in the fall. New York is also home to Buffalo, located in Upstate New York. Buffalo is known for its delicious buffalo wings as well as the Buffalo Bills, a popular NFL team that plays in the AFC East.
