People are drawn to many aspects of the city, including its rich architectural history and many tourist attractions.

Merely saying that there is a set number of people within a city is not always enough to truly grasp the demographic scope of an area. Although a national census has not calculated the numbers for recent years, the 2011 census states that there are 898 females for every 1000 males, with the exact number of females totaling 1,454,070 compared with 1,619,280 males.

Summer is between March and June and, during these hot months, the temperature climbs to a high of 45 C and a low of a 25 C. Monsoon season has the wettest months of the year, and this makes travel much more of a challenge. People visiting between July and September will have to plan their day around the rain.
