- The International Court of Justice (ICJ or CIJ), also known as the World Court, is an international court and one of the divisions of the United Nations. It adjudicates legal disputes between nations.
- The ICJ is made up of 15 judges, each of whom serve for nine years. No two judges from the same country may serve at the same time.
- ICJ President Nawaf Salam resigned to assume the office of Prime Minister of Lebanon. Yuji Iwasawa was elected to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term (2027)
