Alabama

In Alabama, 844,026 acres of the state are considered federal land. They are also ranked 31st in owning federal property.

Alaska

Alaska is the state with the most federal land, with a whopping 223,803,098 acres under their belt.

Arizona

Arizona has 28,064,307 acres of federally owned land. It’s also ranked 7th in having the most federal area.

Arkansas

Arkansas has approximately 3,151,685 acres of federally owned land. It’s also ranked 17th in having the most federally owned property.

California

California has 45,864,800 acres of federally owned land. Also, it’s ranked 3rd in having the most federally owned property.

Colorado

Connecticut

Florida

Florida has 4,599,919 acres of land owned by the government. It’s ranked 13th for having a high amount of federal land.

Georgia

Georgia has 1,474,225 acres of federally owned land. It’s ranked as the 21st state with the most amount of federal land.

Hawaii

Hawaii has 820,725 acres of federal land. It’s ranked 32nd in the nation for its federal land ownership.

Idaho

Idaho has 32,621,631 acres of federal land. It is the 6th rated state for the most federally owned property.

Illinois

Illinois has 411,387 acres of federal land throughout the state. It’s the 38th ranked state for having federally owned property.

Indiana

Iowa

Kansas
