Armenian Americans constitute a significant percentage of the population in some states. California has the largest Armenian American community with 249,539 individuals, representing 0.64% of its total population. Rhode Island has the second-largest percentage of Armenian Americans with 0.53%, followed by Massachusetts with 0.39%. New Hampshire, Nevada, New Jersey, and Connecticut have Armenian American populations between 0.13% and 0.23%.
On the other hand, many states have relatively small Armenian American populations. In Alabama, South Dakota, Mississippi, North Dakota, Louisiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, Wyoming, Arkansas, Hawaii, Delaware, Tennessee, Texas, Minnesota, Kansas, Indiana, and Missouri, Armenian Americans represent less than 0.03% of the state’s population. However, every state has some Armenian American residents.
