In general, Iranian Americans are most heavily concentrated in the West and Northeast regions of the country.

While some states have a relatively small number of Iranians, such as Alaska with 574 individuals (0.078%), others have a higher concentration, like Maryland where Iranians make up 0.27% of the population. Overall, Iranian Americans represent a diverse group with a presence in many parts of the United States.
