Lithuanian Americans are most concentrated in the northeastern region of the US. Connecticut has the highest percentage of Lithuanians per capita at 0.719%, followed by Massachusetts with 0.62% and Illinois with 0.595%. These states also have the highest number of Lithuanian Americans, with 26,099 in Connecticut, 43,215 in Massachusetts, and 74,215 in Illinois. Other states with significant Lithuanian populations include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.

On the other hand, Lithuanian Americans are least represented in the southern and western regions of the US. Mississippi has the lowest percentage of Lithuanians per capita at 0.017%, with only 485 Lithuanian Americans residing in the state. Other states with low numbers of Lithuanian Americans include South Dakota and North Dakota.
