It is unclear whether it is better for a president to be tall or short, but a lot of it is a matter of public perception. Some people might not want a president who is too short because he could be perceived as weak, even if that is not the case. On the other hand, there might be some people who are concerned that the President should not be too tall because they do not want a president who sticks out from the crowd. It is highly likely that future presidents of the United States will fall somewhere in the same range.
