It is difficult to say what the average dress sizes is in the world because different countries have different metrics they use for sizes. For example, the average dress size in the United States might be a 16, but the average dress size in the United Kingdom might be a 44. Even though these two sizes might be very close to one another, they sound very different because of the measurement tools different countries use.
Furthermore, the way dresses are made and size has changed over time. This means that the scale used to measure dress size in the United States today is not necessarily the same scale used to measure dress size in the United States back in the 1960s.
In general, the average breast size across the world has gone up during the past few decades. This is because people today are heavier than they were several decades ago. There are a number of reasons for this, but a lot of them come from a lack of exercise and changes in diet. For example, people tend to eat larger portion sizes today than they did in the past because food is more prevalent in the developed world. Furthermore, meals today are not as healthy as they once were, with the rise of fast food and convenience playing a major role. Finally, with the ubiquity of cars, people do not walk as much as they used to. With less physical activity, people are heavier, contributing to an increase in the average dress size.
Furthermore, dress sizes in the United Kingdom are not the same as they are in the European Union. Even though the United Kingdom is a part of Europe, it has a different measurement system. That is why dress sizes are not the same. The average breast size in the United Kingdom is plus size, coming in at 16; however, that equates to a 44 in the EU. In addition, many clothing companies are predicting that the average size of dresses will go up in the future, as obesity continues to be a major issue.
Finally, dresses in Japan are not necessarily smaller than they are in the United States; however, the average dress size in Japan is smaller than it is in Europe. There are a number of reasons for this. First, people in Japan do tend to be shorter than they are in the United States. Therefore, most articles of clothing are a bit smaller. In addition, people in Japan tend to weigh less than they do in the United States. This is because people who live in Japan tend to walk everywhere, so weight is not as big of a problem. As a result, the average dress size in Japan is smaller than it is in the United States.
